Think your child is too young to start swim lessons? Not at Maley Swim School! We start our littlest swimmers off in the
WaterBaby program when they are as young as six months old. Babies who are new to swimming start off in WaterBaby 1, a water acclimation class
where a parent swims with the baby. This class focuses on a gentle introduction to the water and includes lots of songs and games; each
of which teaches your baby a specific skill. Your baby thinks he is just having fun, but he is learning how to kick, hold his breath, jump
in, float on his back, and climb out of the pool, just to name a few. Both baby and mom or dad will benefit from the uninterrupted bonding time offered
in our classes. Once your baby is acclimated to the water, he will progress to WaterBaby 2 where he will continue building his breath control,
endurance, refining kicks, swimming longer distances, perfecting his breath control and being able to get back to the side and climb out
independently should he ever fall in. Eventually, he will advance to WaterBaby 3, without mom or dad in the pool, and refine the
skills he’s been practicing. It’s never too early to start teaching your baby skills that could one day save his life.

drowning, which is the leading cause of accidental death for children under 5 and
the 2nd leading cause of accidental death for children under 14. So be sure
